Unchartered Educational Network's leadership support system is characterized by supporting learning-focused leadership by providing various resources to enable leaders to sustain their instructional improvement work. Support means different things to leaders who occupy varying positions within the educational system, therefore the task of supporting learning-focused leadership must reflect a broad spectrum of activities and arrangements. The steps taken by U.E.N. to support learning-focused leadership are leadership acts, essential dimensions of a leadership system that guide the improvement of teaching and learning.

U.E.N. equips leaders with the tools necessary to increase their capacity to effectively lead a team of diverse staff to educate a body of diverse students, while learning different leadership styles and treating colleagues equally in order to motivate them to succeed. In addition, U.E.N. provides support for leaders in creating an environment of inclusivity, while building positive relationships with all stakeholders in the school community, ultimately creating a positive and engaging school environment.
