Accountability Systems

Unchartered Solutions assists in creating and implementing comprehensive oversight systems that establish clear, transparent expectations for schools and holds them accountable for action. U.S. accountability systems set expectations for what it means to be a good school. Accountability systems have two closely related parts. The first is a way of signaling how well schools are doing and the second is actions that must result from those ratings, which include, resources, supports, and interventions for those areas that are falling short.

Quality Assessments

Unchartered Solutions reviews schools, districts, and networks to help stakeholders identify the biggest levers of change. This includes the incorporation of a data-driven school improvement process using reflective and diagnostic questions to help administrators identify where they are in their journey to achieve success; including but not limited to providing a high-quality education, and if applicable, whether they are prepared to replicate or expand their program/offerings to serve additional students.

Operational Support
 
Unchartered Solutions helps schools to identify operational teams and tasks, clearly separating the instructional from the non-instructional, which allows a schools instructional leadership to focus exclusively on what is happening in classrooms (e.g., observing teacher instructional and behavior management practices, interfacing with students’ families, and analyzing assessment data), while the school operations team takes care of the rest.

Instructional Support

The goal of Unchartered Solutions' instructional support process is to maximize individual student success, while at the same time serve as a screening process for students who may be in need of specialized education services. U.E.N.'s instructional support service is a positive, success-oriented system which uses specific assessment and intervention techniques to help remove educational or behavioral barriers for all students in the regular classroom.  

Leadership Support

Unchartered Solutions' leadership support system is characterized by supporting learning-focused leadership by providing various resources to enable leaders to sustain their instructional improvement work.
